Shirley Temple Black: A Grown-Up Version of the Classic Kid’s Drink - The Rockland County Moms

Deb Podlogar, aka “Mocktail Mom,” has built a devoted following around her passion for creating delicious alcohol-free drinks that never compromise on flavor or fun. Straight from her book, The Happiest Hour: Delicious Mocktails for a Fabulous Moms’ Night In, Deb shares her recipe for the Cranberry Dream, a ruby-red beverage that’s about to become your new go-to for everything from weeknight wind-downs to festive celebrations.

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz. non-alcoholic whiskey
  • 1 oz. Low sugar cranberry juice
  • ½ oz. lime juice
  • Non-alcoholic ginger beer
  • Lime wedge or cranberries for garnish

Method:

  1. In a copper cup (or any cup), fill with ice.
  2. Add non-alcoholic whiskey (omit or substitute with another non-alcoholic spirit), cranberry juice, and lime juice.
  3. Give a stir.
  4. Top with ginger beer.
  5. Garnish with a lime wedge or cranberries.
